Playmate Ball Machine - Improve your skills and your physical fitness by renting our state of the art tennis ball machine.  Hourly and seasonal rentals are available.

 

Serve, Stroke & Volley -  This is a skill test which gives you an accurate numerical value of your tennis skills.

Don't let the word test scare you!  This is a learning process that you will want to do over and over again as you work to improve your game.  It measures all areas of your game, serve, ground strokes and volley. This test will be given at no charge to all juniors attending our camps and group lessons.  Adults will also be invited to challenge themselves in this outstanding skill test where you will compete against yourself and be able to compare your scores to players across America.  The SS&V is a great way to gauge your tennis improvement.  For details go to www.ss&v.com 

 

"The Metzger" PA State Clay Court Championships is the premier professional tennis event in the Middle States area.  The event is held June 17-20 and is played at all Harrisburg area country clubs.  Colonial hosts

the stadium court featuring the quarter, semi and final.  Sponsor parties are held on Thurs & Sat and live bands

play on Thurs, Sat & Sun.   Plan to come out and watch world class tennis.  Sponsorships are needed as well as player host families.  For details go to www.metzger-open.com.

 

Hospice Tennis Fund Raisers - You are invited to participate in any of the Hospice Tennis Events.  All proceeds benefit Hospice.  In April the Mixed Doubles event is held indoors at the Hershey Racquet Club.

In late May the ladies doubles is held at the Country Club of Harrisburg and early June the men's doubles is

held at the West Shore Country Club.  Contact Hospice at 732-1000 for details.

 

World Surgical Foundation - Spend a late September Friday afternoon playing a mixed doubles round robin followed by dinner at the Blue Ridge Country Club.  All proceeds helps fund area doctors going to do good
